At Wood Floor Solutions NW, we install solid wood, engineered wood and laminate floors to all kinds of houses and buildings in North Wales, Cheshire and Wirral. Scroll down to see examples of our wood floor installations.
Engineered wood has become a popular choice for many of our clients, as there are many benefits to the material, such as strength, stability in different moisture and heat, a beautiful real wood used on the top layer, and often a lower cost than solid wood.
But solid wood has it’s benefits too. Repair work is easy and relatively inexpensive, as solid wood can be sanded back, oiled, and refinished several times over its lifetime. It can be a little harder to do this with engineered wood as you are working with a thinner top layer of wood.
To give you an idea of what your floor could look like, take a look at the examples below. Always bear in mind that we provide more options for you to choose from.

Oak engineered wood flooring, finished with UV oil. The oak’s natural and distinctive grain comes through, enhanced by the UV oil, to provide a timeless look and comforting colour, especially for those winter evenings.
The project started with preparation of the floor, before fitting the oak engineered wood tiles, then repairing and fitting the skirting boards, and then applying the UV oil for that polished effect. What’s more, the UV oil is very environmentally friendly and easy to repair.
We completed this project in Wirral (West Kirby).
